RECEIVING HOPPERS.

DESCRIPTION HOPPERS FOR RECEIVING CONCENTRATED FOODSTUFFS:

In concentrate/balanced feed production plants, the receipt of raw material is one of the first activities in the process. Whether by installing a tractor-trailer / mule tipping system or using a mechanical shovel to unload the bulk material from the trucks, the receiving systems must ensure the proper flow of the material to the conveyors that feed the storage silos.

The baghouse/fan type extraction systems installed above the material receiving hoppers ensure that the emissions in the area are kept within the permissible range. The external enclosure of the area is essential to confine the dusty air to be removed by the extraction system.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF RECEIVING HOPPERS:

  • Receiving hopper capacities up to 400 TPH, depending on the unloading system installed under the hoppers.
  • Hoppers manufactured in carbon steel sheet with angle reinforcements and structural plate as appropriate. Rounded edges to avoid accumulation.
  • Grating manufactured in angle and structural plate, designed for either truck or pedestrian passage, as appropriate.
  • Internal baffles that reduce the required air consumption.
  • Suction systems with capacity up to 30,000 cfm.
