DESCRIPTION FRUIT RECEIVING HOPPER:
Bunches with fruit / FFB / RFF are normally delivered to an elevated ramp, where trucks or trailers arrive to empty them into hoppers with a certain degree of inclination. These hoppers are known as Receiving Hoppers or Fruit Receiving Hoppers.
These hoppers are equipped with hydraulic gates that control the discharge of the African palm fruit into either wagons or redler conveyors. The bunches / RFF can be stored for several hours in the chute until the plant is ready to process them, thus providing a buffer for operations.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE FRUIT RECEIVING HOPPER:
- Nominal Capacity: up to 20 Tons of bunches / RFF / FFB each.
- The hoppers are interconnected and each one is equipped with a discharge gate for unloading.
- Each module is equipped with a collecting hopper for the evacuation of impurities, loose fruits and vegetables.
- Frames with coarse mesh are placed on the side walls and front of the hoppers to prevent the fruit from falling over them.
- A wireless discharge control system is available as an option.
