Equipment
Oil Palm.
DESCRIPTION HORIZONTAL STERILIZER:
In the sterilizers / autoclaves, the fruit bunches / RFF / FFB are sterilized by injecting water steam for periods ranging from 65 to 90 minutes. This process accelerates the softening of the fruit-bunch bond, which facilitates their separation, the extraction of the oil and the detachment of the kernel from the nutshell.
The horizontal sterilization process allows to have a better oil compared to that obtained in extraction plants with vertical or inclined extraction. The losses of oil impregnated in the pulp and the generation of condensates are much lower, which eliminates the need for the pulp or rachis pressing station.
