DIGESTER DESCRIPTION:
Equipment designed to macerate the product in order to break the surface membranes of the African palm fruit and condition it for the final extraction operation of the press. The product has direct contact with steam injectors, in order to increase the temperature and facilitate the extraction process and fluidity of the red / crude / CPO oil.
The METALTECO Digester is a vertical cylindrical type, made of carbon steel with wear plate. It has 5 pairs of agitator arms and 2 sweeper arms made of wear resistant cast steel. It includes connection for dial thermometer, fruit feeding duct to the press made of stainless steel and thermal insulation installed on site.
DIGESTER TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Vertical digester with internal paddles.
- Capacity: 4500 liters / hour, adjustable to specific customer requirements.
- 60 HP engine.
- Direct steam injection through nozzles.
- 2” thick fiberglass insulation with bright stainless steel sheet coating.
