DESCRIPTION OF DRUM DEFROSTING:
Once the sterilization process has been completed, the defruiter separates the palm fruit from the rachis. The sheller is a cage-like drum that rotates (available in shaft and shaftless models) leaving the center free. The bunches / FFBs pass into the drum and repeatedly hit the longitudinal bars of the drum, which causes the fruit to detach.
The correct design and manufacture of the equipment is essential to ensure proper operation, as differences in rotational speed or inefficient cage executions can cause an increase in the fruit adhering to the tassel / rachis / EFB.
The METALTECO drum scrubber features an innovative design with interchangeable raceways, which increases the durability of the drum that does not require replacement once the raceways wear out.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DRUM DEFROSTING SYSTEM:
- Shaft or shaftless geared or shaftless.
- Capacities of 30 or 45 Ton / hour. Special capacities upon customer's request.
- 40 HP motor for a capacity of 45 Ton / hour.
- Replaceable track / raceway.
