EXTRUDER DESCRIPTION:
The METALTECO extruder is widely used for the manufacture of concentrated/balanced feed for fish, shrimp and pet food. It is also used for the extrusion of raw materials such as corn and soybeans.
METALTECO offers high capacity extrusion lines that guarantee that the extruded product has the correct physical properties to achieve the buoyancy required for the correct feeding of aquatic species.
EXTRUDER TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Extrusion barrel made of alloy steel tube in three sections mounted on structural steel supports.
- Hardened sleeves at discharge end with special screw for installation of a dial thermometer.
- Alloy steel central shaft with heat-treated extruder screws.
- Alloy steel nozzle plate with heat-treated nozzles.
- Steam injection valves installed directly on the barrel.
